Bagel with Garlic Chive Cream Cheese

Ingredients

Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice

  • 10 to 12 Oranges refrigerated so they're cold (About 5 to 6 oranges yield an 8oz glass of OJ.)
  • 1 Banana sliced

Bagel

  • 6 TBSP Whipped cream cheese
  • 1 clove Garlic minced or grated using a microplane
  • 1.5 TBSP Fresh chives minced
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 Plain bagel halved and toasted

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Cut the oranges in half. Using a manual juicer or electric juicer, juice the oranges into a pitcher or glass. Add the orange juice and sliced banana to a blender. Blend until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • In a bowl mix the cream cheese, garlic, and chives until fully combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lightly toast the bagel. Then spread the cream cheese onto the bagel.
  • Serve the bagel with orange banana juice.
