Ingredients
- 6 oz Ground turkey
- 1/2 tbsp Chicken Seasoning rub
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 slices Sourdough bread or bread of your choice
- 2 slices Gruyere cheese halved
- 1 cup Sauerkraut
- 2 Pickle spears
- 2 oz Potato chips
Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Ketchup or more if desired
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Relish
Instructions
- Preheat a panini style grill.
- In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Mix together the ground turkey, seasoning rub, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper, and form into oblong patties to fit the shape of the bread.
- Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the oil. Cook the patties on both sides to an internal temperature of 160 degrees using a thermometer. Then remove from the pan and set aside.
- Spread the sauce on all slices of bread. Then layer with cheese, turkey patty, sauerkraut, and the other slice of bread on top.
- Cook on the panini grill until golden brown while melting the cheese.(Alternatively use a nonstick pan on medium low heat and cover with a lid).
- Cut in half and serve with pickles and chips.
