Ingredients
- Nonstick spray
- 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 3/4 pound Ground turkey
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup Yellow mustard
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 4 slices Aged Swiss Cheese
- 8 slices Sourdough bread or bread of your choice
- 1 cup Shredded cabbage mix
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickles cut into rounds
Instructions
- Preheat a panini style grill and lightly grease with nonstick spray.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the oil, brown the turkey until no longer pink while breaking it up into smaller pieces. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a low simmer until the sauce is thickened and flavorful. Stir in the cheese and melt.
- Place the mixture on the bread and top with cabbage mix. Cook the sandwich on the panini grill until golden brown and cripsy. (Alternatively, heat oil as needed in a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Cook the sandwich on both sides, covered with a lid, until golden brown).
- Cut in half and serve with chips and pickles.
