Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp Steak seasoning Montreal steak seasoning or equivalent
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz American cheese sliced, or your choice of cheese
  • 4 Hamburger buns toasted
  • 8 leaves Lettuce iceberg or romaine
  • 8 slices Tomato
  • 4 Pickle spears
  • 4 oz Potato chips
  • Ketchup or your choice of condiments

Instructions

  • Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Preheat the oven broiler on low.
  • Mix together the ground turkey, steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Season generously with salt and pepper, and form into patties. Cook burgers to an internal temperature of 155 degrees using a thermometer. When the burger is most of the way cooked, add the cheese and place under the oven broiler to melt.
  • Toast the buns. Place the burger on the bun with lettuce and tomato. Serve with pickles, chips and ketchup or your choice of condiments.
