Ingredients
Tiramisu French Toast:
- 2 Eggs
- 2 TBSP Coffee or espresso cooled
- ¼ cup Milk
- ¼ cup Mascarpone cheese
- 1 TBSP Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 4 slices Your choice of bread cut thick such as brioche or challah bread
- 4 TBSP Butter for cooking
- Whipped cream for serving
- 1 TBSP Cocoa powder for dusting
Fruit
- 2 cups Fresh fruit (such as berries or sliced bananas)
Coffee
- Coffee
- Your choice of creamer
- Your choice of sweetener
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, coffee, milk, mascarpone, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a little butter.
- Place onto the skillet or griddle and cook for 3 - 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Once the French toast is cooked, remove it from the skillet and transfer to serving plates.
- Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
- Top the french toast with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
- Serve the tiramisu French toast with mixed fresh fruit and coffee.
