Ingredients

Tiramisu French Toast:

  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 TBSP Coffee or espresso cooled
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Mascarpone cheese
  • 1 TBSP Granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 4 slices Your choice of bread cut thick such as brioche or challah bread
  • 4 TBSP Butter for cooking
  • Whipped cream for serving
  • 1 TBSP Cocoa powder for dusting

Fruit

  • 2 cups Fresh fruit (such as berries or sliced bananas)

Coffee

  • Coffee
  • Your choice of creamer
  • Your choice of sweetener

Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, coffee, milk, mascarpone, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Dip each bread slice into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a little butter.
  • Place onto the skillet or griddle and cook for 3 - 4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Once the French toast is cooked, remove it from the skillet and transfer to serving plates.
  • Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
  • Top the french toast with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
  • Serve the tiramisu French toast with mixed fresh fruit and coffee.
