Ingredients
Maine Lobster Roll
- 8 oz Cooked lobster meat chopped
- 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
- 1 TBSP Lemon juice
- 1 TBSP Fresh chives chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 Hot dog buns
- 1 TBSP Butter melted
- Romaine lettuce shredded optional
- 2 oz Potato chips
Homemade Lemonade
- 16 oz Water cold
- 1 cup Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 2 TBSP Granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- If the lobster tails are not already cooked, steam or boil them until the meat is opaque and firm. Remove the meat from the shells and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the lobster meat evenly with the dressing.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Brush the inside surfaces of the New England-style hot dog buns with melted butter.
- Toast the buns in the skillet or griddle until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Line each toasted bun with lettuce leaves optional. Divide the lobster mixture equally between the buns, filling them generously.
- Mix the ingredients together for the lemonade.
- Serve the Maine lobster rolls with chips and homemade lemonade.
