French Bread Pizza

Ingredients

French Bread Pizza:

  • 1 French bread loaf (each loaf 8-10 inches long)
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • 1 ½ cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoni sliced or other desired toppings
  • ¼ tsp Dried oregano
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder

Sparkling Lemon Water:

  • 2 cups Sparkling water
  • 1 Lemon thinly sliced
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep all ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise, creating two equal-sized pieces.
  • If you have additional pizza toppings that are raw, like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms, prepare them as needed.
  • Place the two halves of the French bread on a baking sheet, cut side up. Spread pizza sauce evenly on each bread half. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on each half. Distribute the sliced pepperoni or other toppings evenly on top of the cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano and garlic powder on each pizza.
  • Place the baking sheet with the prepared pizzas in the preheated oven. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are slightly crispy.
  • Once the French bread pizzas are done, carefully remove them from the oven.
  • Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut into pieces.
  • Fill two glasses with sparkling water. Add lemon slices to the glasses and ice cubes if desired.
  • Serve the French bread pizza alongside the sparkling lemon water. Enjoy!
