Chocolate Croissant and Cantaloupe

Ingredients

  • 2 Croissant cut in half
  • 1/2 Chocolate bar
  • 4 slices Cantaloupe seeds scooped out rind on, Large slices

Coffee

  • Coffee
  • Heavy cream or your choice creamer
  • Sugar or your choice of sweetener

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). While the oven is heating, prep ingredients.
  • Prep the cantaloup and cut the croissant per instruction above.
  • Make the croissants: Warm the croissant in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes. While baking, make the coffee and melt the chocolate.
  • Melt the chocolate in a microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring each time, until smooth.
  • Make the coffee according to the directions on the coffee maker.
  • Spread the melted chocolate inside both halves of the croissant, then put both halves together and drizzle some over top.
  • Serve: Transfer the croissant to a plate. Enjoy with cantaloupe and coffee (with cream and sugar if desired).
