Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound Ground chicken
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning or make your own (see notes below)
  • 8 Taco shells
  • 2 oz Mexican cheese blend Shredded

Instructions

  • In a non-stick pan over medium heat, cook the ground chicken with the taco seasoning, breaking it up into smaller pieces. Add a few tablespoons of water and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a low simmer
  • Spoon the seasoned chicken into the taco shells and sprinkle with cheese.

Notes

Make your own Taco Seasoning 
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
