Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1/2 Onion diced
- 1/2 cup Carrots diced
- 1/2 cup Celery diced
- 1/2 cup White wine
- 1/2 lb Bowtie pasta or other pasta of choice
- 2 cups Beef broth
- Heavy cream
- 4 tsp Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- Heat a pot on medium high heat. Add the beef and break up into smaller pieces with a wooden spoon. Turn the heat down to medium and add in the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic; saute for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the wine, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and thyme; and bring to a simmer.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the directions on the package. When the pasta is finished drain well.
- Toss the pasta in the sauce and serve. Garnish with grated parmesan cheese.
