Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1/4 Onion peeled and chopped
- 2 Carrots peeled and chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 2 cups Canned diced tomato
- 3 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Ground fennel seed
- 1 cup Green Peas
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot over medium heat, cook the beef, stirring occasionally, until brown. Add in the onion, carrot, and garlic, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients, except the peas and parsley. Cover and simmer for about 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Add in the peas and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Hungarian Goulash
