Ingredients
Tuna Sandwich
- 8 oz Tuna fish (drained) chunk white tuna or your preference
- 2 TBSP Celery minced
- 2 TBSP Red onion minced
- ¼ cup Olives pitted and sliced
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 2 TBSP Mayonnaise more as needed
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 4 slices Sourdough bread lightly toasted
- 1 cup Butter lettuce cut to fit the bread
- 4 slices Tomato
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Homemade Lemonade
- 1 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 16 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with celery, red onion, olives, lemon juice, and mayonnaise as needed until the tuna is to your desired creaminess. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lightly toast the bread.
- Assemble the sandwich: Layer the bread with lettuce, tomato, and tuna salad. Top with a slice of bread then cut in half.
- Mix the ingredients for the lemonade.
- Serve: Enjoy the sandwich with chips, pickle, and lemonade.
