Ingredients

Tuna Sandwich

  • 8 oz Tuna fish (drained) chunk white tuna or your preference
  • 2 TBSP Celery minced
  • 2 TBSP Red onion minced
  • ¼ cup Olives pitted and sliced
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise more as needed
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 4 slices Sourdough bread lightly toasted
  • 1 cup Butter lettuce cut to fit the bread
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 2 oz Potato chips
  • 2 Pickle spears

Homemade Lemonade

  • 1 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 16 oz Water
  • 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with celery, red onion, olives, lemon juice, and mayonnaise as needed until the tuna is to your desired creaminess. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Lightly toast the bread.
  • Assemble the sandwich: Layer the bread with lettuce, tomato, and tuna salad. Top with a slice of bread then cut in half.
  • Mix the ingredients for the lemonade.
  • Serve: Enjoy the sandwich with chips, pickle, and lemonade.
