Ingredients
Sausage
- 2 Breakfast sausage links or patties
Scrambled Eggs
- 4 large Eggs
- 2 TBSP Milk or cream
- 1 TBSP Butter
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Raisin Bran
- 1 cup Raisin Bran cereal
- 1 cup Milk (your choice)
Coffee
- Coffee (brewed to preference)
- Your choice of creamer (optional)
- Your choice of sweetener (optional)
Instructions
Cook the Sausage
- Heat a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage links or patties.
- Cook, turning occasionally, until browned and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside to keep warm.
Scramble the Eggs
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them together with milk or cream. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Pour the whisked eggs into the skillet and let them sit for 20–30 seconds before gently stirring with a spatula.
- Continue stirring occasionally until the eggs are cooked to your desired consistency (about 3–4 minutes). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble the Raisin Bran
- While the eggs are cooking, pour the Raisin Bran into bowls and add milk to each as desired.
- Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
Serve
- Serve the scrambled eggs and sausage alongside Raisin Bran and coffee.
