Ingredients

Hamburger Helper

  • 8 oz Ground beef
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 TBSP Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1.5 cups Elbow macaroni
  • ¾ cup Cheddar cheese shredded

Kombucha

  • 24 oz Kombucha cold

Instructions

  • Prepare the Hamburger Helper
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into small pieces as it browns.
  • Once the beef is fully browned, drain excess grease if necessary.
  • Stir in the onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper until evenly combined.
  • Cook the Pasta
  • Add the water, milk, and elbow macaroni to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook according to the macaroni package instructions, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the pasta is tender.
  • Add the Cheese
  • Once the macaroni is cooked, reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  • Serve
  • Transfer the hamburger helper to serving plates or bowls. Pair with slices of crusty bread if desired.
  • Pour cold kombucha into glasses and serve alongside the meal. Enjoy!
