Ingredients
Mocha
- 1 cup Coffee
- 2 tsp Cacao powder
- 1 cup Milk
- Whipped cream optional
- Your choice of sweetener optional
Bagel
- 2 Your choice of bagel halved and toasted
- 6 TBSP Whipped cream cheese
- 6 oz Lox (smoked salmon), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tsp Capers
- 1 TBSP Fresh dill
- 2 TBSP Red onion minced
Instructions
- Brew your favorite coffee using your preferred method.
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium low heat until warmed, mix in the cocoa powder until dissolved. Remove from the heat.
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Toast the bagel in a toaster oven.
- Spread the bagel with cream cheese. Top with salmon, capers, dill and onion.
- Add the milk/cocoa mixture to the coffee. Add sweetener if desired. Top with whipped cream if desired.
- Enjoy the bagel with the hot mocha.
