Ingredients

Maine Lobster Roll

  • 8 oz Cooked lobster meat chopped
  • cup Celery chopped small
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise use more/less as preferred
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 TBSP Fresh chives chopped
  • 1 TBSP Fresh dill
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 Hot dog buns
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 4 oz Your choice of block cheese sliced (i.e. cheddar, brie, jarlsberg)
  • 10 Crackers

Riesling

  • 8 oz Riesling wine chilled

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients as instructed above.
  • In a bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the lobster meat evenly with the dressing.
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Melt the butter in the skillet.
  • Toast the buns until they are golden brown on both sides.
  • Divide the lobster mixture equally between the buns, filling them generously.
  • Serve the Maine lobster rolls with cheese and crackers and riesling.
