Ingredients

Hibiscus Iced Tea

  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 Hibiscus tea bags or 1 tsp of loose hibiscus tea per bag needed
  • 2 TBSP Honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • Ice cubes

Ham and Swiss on Country Miche

  • 4 slices Miche bread (about 1/2 inch thick each)
  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
  • 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 6 oz Deli ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 oz Sour cream cheddar potato chips Ruffles or similar
  • 2 Pickle spears

Instructions

  • Bring water to a simmer then remove from the heat. Steep the tea in the water for 10 minutes then add sugar to taste. Refrigerate to cool.
  • Optional: Toast the bread.
  • Spread mayo on each slice of bread. Layer with lettuce, tomato, ham, and cheese. Top with remaining slice of bread. Cut in half.
  • Pour the chilled hibiscus tea over ice.
  • Serve the sandwich with cheddar chips, pickle, hibiscus iced tea.
