Ingredients
French Bread Pizza
- 1 loaf French bread (8-10 inches long)
- 1 cup Marinara sauce
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded use more as needed
- Your choice of toppings prepared accordingly
- ¼ tsp Dried oregano
- ¼ tsp Garlic powder
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Homemade Lemonade
- 1/2 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 20 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- If you have pizza toppings that are raw, like bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms, etc. prepare them as needed.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the baguette in half lengthwise. Place the baguette onto a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Lightly toast the bread to golden brown. Then remove from the oven.
- Spread a layer of sauce as needed onto the bread, covering it well. Evenly distribute the cheese and pepperoni, and other toppings if using, over top. Sprinkle it with oregano and garlic.
- Place on a foiled-lined baking sheet and cook in the oven until golden brown and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
- Mix the ingredients for the lemonade. Serve over ice if desired.
- Serve the French bread pizza with lemonade.
