Ingredients

Pork and Beans

  • 1 slice Bacon diced
  • 15 oz Navy beans with liquid from can
  • 2 TBSP Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Yellow mustard
  • ½ tsp Liquid smoke
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 TBSP Molasses

Wings

  • 12 Chicken wings about 5 - 6 wings per portion depending on size
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup Buffalo wing sauce use more if needed
  • 1/4 cup Ranch dressing optional

Seasoning

  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Grilled Corn on the Cob

  • 2 ears Corn on the cob
  • 2 tsp Butter

Garlic Cheesy Bread

  • 2 slices Sourdough bread
  • 1 TBSP Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded

Sweet Tea

  • 24 oz Sweet tea

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill on medium heat.
  • Make the pork & beans: Dice the bacon into small pieces. In a small saucepan, cook the bacon on medium heat just until tender to render off the fat, not crispy. Turn off heat. Remove the bacon pieces, drain the fat, and add the bacon back in. Add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan, mix, and turn the heat back on to medium.
  • Prep the Wings: Toss the wings with garlic powder, oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Grill the wings on all sides to get a nice crispy char to an internal temperature of 160℉ (71℃) using a thermometer. (Alternatively, use the oven 400℉ / 204℃. Cook the wings on a baking sheet in the oven until crispy to an internal temperature of 160℉ (71℃) using a thermometer.)
  • Grill the corn on all sides until nicely charred and tender. Once tender, lather with butter and lightly season with salt. Set aside.
  • Toast the Bread. Then spread with butter and garlic. Top with cheese. Place on a baking sheet.
  • Place the prepared garlic bread under the broiler until the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven.
  • Toss the wings in buffalo sauce in a bowl.
  • Serve the wings alongside the pork and beans, grilled corn, garlic cheesy bread, and sweet iced tea. Enjoy.
