Ingredients

Pork Sausage Patty

  • 2 oz Pork sausage patties

Eggs

  • 1 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Bagel with Garlic Herb Cream Cheese

  • 1 Whole wheat bagel or sourdough bagel, sliced and halved
  • 2 TBSP Garlic herb cream cheese

Fruit

  • 2 cups Mixed fruit prepared as needed, e.g. strawberries, sliced banana, pineapple chunks

Coffee

  • Coffee brewed to your liking
  • Creamer optional
  • Sweetener optional

Orange Juice

  • 8 oz Orange juice cold

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients as instructed above.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat (no oil needed unless very lean meat). Cook sausage patties on both sides to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). Set aside and keep warm.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Crack in the eggs, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until the whites are firm to desired doneness.
  • Toast the bagel until golden brown. Spread evenly with garlic herb cream cheese. Then portion.
  • Brew and prepare coffee to your liking.
  • Serve the eggs with sausage patty, ½ bagel, fruit, orange juice, and coffee.
