Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Red wine vinegar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 tsp Pickling spice
- 1.5 tbsp Sugar
- 2 cups Red cabbage shredded
Instructions
- Place the vinegar, water, pickling spice, and sugar in a saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Remove from the heat and set aside for 5 minutes.
- Place the cabbage in a bowl. Pour the liquid in and stir so the cabbage is submerged. Let sit for 25 minutes or until ready to serve. Drain well before serving.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste if needed.
