Turkey Apple Panini

Ingredients

Cucumber Water:

  • 1/4 Cucumber sliced
  • 24 oz Water cold

Turkey Panini with Apple, Cheddar & Arugula:

  • 4 slices Sandwich thins
  • Mayonnaise
  • Yellow mustard
  • 8 oz Deli turkey breast
  • 1 Apple thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Arugula
  • 2 oz Potato chips
  • 2 Pickle spears

Banana Split (optional dessert):

  • 1 Banana peeled and halved then sliced in half lengthwise
  • 2 scoops Your favorite ice cream
  • 2 TBSP Chocolate syrup
  • 2 TBSP Walnuts chopped
  • Whipped cream
  • 2 Maraschino cherries (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep all ingredients per instructions above.
  • Make Cucumber Water: In a pitcher, combine the sliced cucumber and water. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
  • Assemble the Panini: Spread mayo and mustard on the inside of each sandwich thin. Layer with turkey, apple slices, cheddar cheese, and arugula. Top with the remaining sandwich thin.
  • Grill the Panini: Place the assembled panini onto the preheated panini press or grill pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Serve the Meal: Cut the turkey panini in half. Serve with chips, pickle, and cucumber water.
  • Prepare the Banana Split (optional): Place two banana slices in a dish or bowl. Add ice cream between the banana slices. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
