Ingredients
Cucumber Water:
- 1/4 Cucumber sliced
- 24 oz Water cold
Turkey Panini with Apple, Cheddar & Arugula:
- 4 slices Sandwich thins
- Mayonnaise
- Yellow mustard
- 8 oz Deli turkey breast
- 1 Apple thinly sliced
- 4 slices Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup Arugula
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Banana Split (optional dessert):
- 1 Banana peeled and halved then sliced in half lengthwise
- 2 scoops Your favorite ice cream
- 2 TBSP Chocolate syrup
- 2 TBSP Walnuts chopped
- Whipped cream
- 2 Maraschino cherries (optional)
Instructions
- Prep all ingredients per instructions above.
- Make Cucumber Water: In a pitcher, combine the sliced cucumber and water. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Assemble the Panini: Spread mayo and mustard on the inside of each sandwich thin. Layer with turkey, apple slices, cheddar cheese, and arugula. Top with the remaining sandwich thin.
- Grill the Panini: Place the assembled panini onto the preheated panini press or grill pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
- Serve the Meal: Cut the turkey panini in half. Serve with chips, pickle, and cucumber water.
- Prepare the Banana Split (optional): Place two banana slices in a dish or bowl. Add ice cream between the banana slices. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
