Season the steak well with steak seasoning and toss with half of the oil.
Heat a saute pan on medium heat. Once hot, add in the steak tips. Brown them on all sides well then remove them from the pan.
Add the remaining oil to the pan. Saute the mushrooms, garlic, and onions until golden brown. Stir in the broth, scraping up anything from the bottom of the pan to incorporate the flavors. Stir in the coconut milk and curry powder.
Bring to a simmer. Then adjust the heat to a low simmer to build flavor, add in the butter and reduce the sauce to a creamy consistency.
Before serving toss the steak tips into the sauce. (For more well done steak tips, allow them to cook in the sauce)
