Ingredients

Italian Sub

  • 2 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 TBSP Red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 2 Sub rolls sliced in half
  • Mayonnaise optional
  • 1 cup Romaine Lettuce shredded
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices Mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 2 oz Deli ham sliced thin
  • 2 oz Salami sliced thin
  • 2 oz Deli Pepperoni sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup Banana peppers sliced
  • ¼ cup Red onion sliced thin
  • 2 oz BBQ potato chips
  • 2 Pickle spears

Homemade Lemonade with Ice:

  • 16 oz Water cold
  • 1 cup Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 TBSP Granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Whisk the oil, vinegar, and half of the oregano in a bowl. Then drizzle on both halves of the roll. Spread on mayo if using.
  • Layer with lettuce, tomato seasoned with salt and pepper, oregano, cheese, ham, salami, pepperoni, banana peppers, and red onion.
  • Mix together all of the ingredients for the lemonade.
  • Cut sub in half and serve with chips, pickle, and homemade lemonade.
