Ingredients

  • 6 slices Multigrain bread square slices will work best (or bread of your choice)
  • 4 tbsp Yellow mustard or more if needed
  • 2 cups Romaine lettuce cut to fit the bread
  • 12 slices Tomato
  • 12 oz Deli ham sliced thin
  • 8 Toothpicks
  • 4 Pickle spears

Instructions

  • Lightly toast the bread slices. Spread the mustard on all slices of bread.
  • To build the sandwich, lay down one slice of bread and top with lettuce and tomato seasoned with salt and pepper, another slice of bread topped with ham, and finally a top slice of bread.
  • Cut diagonally from corner to corner to create 4 triangle pieces. Place the toothpicks in to hold each one together. Serve 2 pieces per portion with pickles.
