Ham and Swiss Sandwich

Hibiscus Iced Tea
- 4 cups Water
- 2 Hibiscus tea bags or 1 tsp of loose hibiscus tea per bag needed
- 2 TBSP Honey or sugar adjust to taste
- Ice cubes
Ham and Swiss
- 4 slices Whole wheat bread
- 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
- 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 6 oz Deli ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 oz Sour cream cheddar potato chips Ruffles or similar
- 2 Pickle Spears
Bring the water to a simmer then remove from the heat. Steep the tea in the water for 10 minutes. Sweeten to taste. Then refrigerate to cool.
Prepare the ingredients as instructed above.
Optional: Toast the bread.
Spread mayo on each slice of bread. Layer with lettuce, tomato, ham, and cheese. Top with remaining slice of bread. Cut in half.
Pour the chilled hibiscus tea over the ice.
Serve the sandwich with cheddar chips, pickle, and hibiscus iced tea.
