Ham and Swiss Sandwich

Hibiscus Iced Tea
- 4 cups Water
- 2 Hibiscus tea bags (or 2 tsp of loose hibiscus tea)
- 1-2 TBSP Honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
Ham and Swiss
- 4 slices Whole wheat bread
- 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
- 4 leaves Romaine lettuce
- 4 slices Tomato
- 6 oz Deli ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 oz Pita chips
- 1/4 cup Hummus
Bring the water to a simmer. Then remove from the heat. Steep the tea in the water for 10 minutes. Then refrigerate to cool.
Prepare the ingredients as instructed above.
Optional: Toast the bread.
Spread mayo on each slice of bread. Layer with lettuce, tomato, ham, and cheese. Top with remaining slice of bread. Cut in half.
Pour the chilled hibiscus tea over the ice.
Serve the sandwich with pita chips and hummus and hibiscus iced tea.
