Preheat a grill on medium heat.
Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Once cooked drain well and set aside.
Spray the eggplant and zucchini on both sides with nonstick spray and season with salt and pepper. Grill on both sides until tender, about 3 - 4 minutes per side. Remove from heat and cut into bite sized chunks.
Grill the sausage to an internal temperature of 160 degrees using a thermometer. Remove from heat and let rest for 3 minutes before slicing.
In a nonstick pan heat the oil and butter over medium heat. Once the butter starts to sizzle add the garlic, saute for 2 minutes until it starts to get golden brown. Add in the tomatoes and saute for another 3 minutes and remove from heat. Toss in the grilled vegetables, pasta, and sausage. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with crusty bread, garnish with basil. Squirt lime juice over top before serving.
