Prep Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the beef, minced garlic, dried oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven broiler on low.
Place the meat mixture onto a foil lined baking sheet and flatten evenly to about ½ inch thick.
Broil until cooked thru to an internal temperature of 155F (70C). Then set aside for 3 minutes before slicing into strips.
Assemble Gyros: Warm the pita bread rounds. Lay out each pita and layer with cooked beef, diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, sliced red onions, crumbled feta cheese, and a drizzle of tzatziki sauce.
Serve: Place the assembled gyros on plates, serve with pita chips and hummus, and pour glasses of cold coconut water. Enjoy your delicious meal!
