Cuban Rueben

Ingredients

  • Nonstick spray
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Yellow mustard
  • 8 slices Rye bread
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 cups Sauerkraut or more if desired
  • 12 oz Deli ham sliced thin
  • 1 cup Pickle sliced into thin rounds
  • 2 oz Potato chips

Instructions

  • Preheat a panini grill or George Foreman grill Lightly grease with non-stick spray.
    (or use a nonstick pan on medium heat if you don't have a grill style press).
  • In a bowl mix together the mayo and mustard.
  • Spread the mixture on both slices of bread (or serve on the side if desired). Place a slice of cheese, sauerkraut, ham, pickles, another slice of cheese, and top with a slice of bread.
  • Place the sandwich on the grill press until golden brown and the cheese is melted (can also use a non-stick pan with non-stick spray covered with a lid).
  • Slice in half and serve with potato chips on the side.
