Cranberry Sauce

- 1/4 cup Water
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar or more if needed
- 1/2 cup Fresh cranberries You can use frozen cranberries also, fresh cranberries may not be available depending on time of year
Place water, sugar and cranberries in sauté pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Continue to cook and reduce down to a syrup-like consistency (about 15 to 20 minutes).
Mash up with a whisk to serve chunky or place in a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve warm, or cool in the refrigerator until cold if desired.
