Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm the croissants.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Set aside.
Slice the croissants in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
Place the croissant halves on a baking sheet and warm them in the preheated oven for about 3-4 minutes, or until they are heated through. Remove from the oven.
Spread the melted chocolate sauce on the bottom halves of the croissants. Place the top halves on the chocolate-covered bottoms, creating sandwiches.
While the croissants are warming, prepare your coffee according to your preference.
