Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine.
Grease the waffle iron with non-stick spray or a little melted butter. Spoon 1 to 2 TBSP of batter into each well.
Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, usually about 3-5 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter until all the waffles are cooked.
Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
Once the waffles are ready, top with your favorite toppings, nutella, banana, berries, syrup, etc.
Serve the waffles with coffee.
