Apple Smoothie and Bagel with Cream Cheese

Ingredients

Apple Smoothie:

  • 2 Apples washed and unpeeled
  • ½ cup Milk (of your choice)
  • ½ cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Banana sliced and frozen
  • 2 TBSP Peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1 TBSP Maple syrup
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon plus additional for serving
  • pinch Ground nutmeg
  • pinch Allspice
  • Ice cubes

Bagel with cream cheese

  • 4 TBSP Cream cheese
  • 1 Your choice of bagel halved

Instructions

  • Core, and chop the apples.
  • Add all of the smoothie ingredients to a blender, blend on high until smooth.
  • While the smoothie is blending, toast the bagel halves until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • Spread cream cheese on each toasted bagel half.
  • Pour the apple smoothie into a glass and dust with cinnamon. Serve with half of a cream cheese bagel per person. Enjoy!a
