Ingredients
Yogurt Pots with Fruit, Granola and Strawberry Coulis
- 1 cup Strawberries hulled and halved
- ¼ cup Water
- 1 TBSP Sugar
- ¼ tsp Lemon juice
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 TBSP Honey optional
- ½ cup Mixed fresh fruit (e.g., berries, banana, kiwi)
- ½ cup Granola
- ¼ cup Sliced almonds
Green Tea
- 16 oz Water
- 2 bags Green Tea (or 2 tsp loose leaf, e.g., sencha or jasmine)
- 2-4 tsp Honey maple syrup or sugar optional
Instructions
- Make strawberry coulis: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries, water, and sugar. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries soften and release their juices. Mash with a fork for a chunky texture or blend for a smoother consistency. Stir in lemon juice and let cool to room temperature.
- Sweetened yogurt (optional): In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt with honey if desired. Adjust to taste.
- Assemble yogurt pots: Divide yogurt evenly between two serving glasses or bowls. Top with mixed fresh fruit. Sprinkle granola and almonds generously over the yogurt. Drizzle with the cooled strawberry coulis.
- Boil water for tea: In a small saucepan or kettle, bring water to a boil over medium-high heat (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool slightly to 175-185°F (80-85°C) to prevent bitterness.
- Steep tea: Place green tea bags or loose tea in a teapot or heat proof pitcher. Pour the hot water over the tea and steep for 2-3 minutes.
- Strain or remove tea bags: If using loose tea, strain into two mugs. If using tea bags, remove them and divide tea between mugs.
- Sweeten (optional): Taste and add honey, maple syrup, or sugar if desired (start with 1 tsp per mug and adjust). Stir until dissolved.
- Serve: Enjoy yogurt pots with fresh green tea.
