Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp Dashi
  • 2 tbsp Scallions chopped
  • 1 tsp Rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 8 Wontons 3 to 4 per portion depending upon size (store bought or home made see recipe in menu)

Instructions

  • Bring the broth, dashi, scallions, rice wine, and soy sauce to a simmer in a pot.
  • Add the wontons to the pot, and gently stir so they don't stick to the bottom. Low simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees using a thermometer. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt if needed.
    (If using store bought wontons or potstickers refer to the instructions on the package for cooking time)
  • Portion and serve.
