Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb Ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 4 Portobello mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese sliced
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 4 Hamburger buns
  • 8 leaves Romaine lettuce
  • 8 slices Tomato
  • 4 Pickles halved
  • 4 oz Potato chips

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan on medium heat.
  • Season ground turkey with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Use your hands to form mixture into equal patties. Place them on the grill and cook on both sides to in an internal temperature of 160 degrees using a thermometer.
  • Place the mushrooms bottom side up. Season the inside of the mushroom with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Place them on the grill top side down for 3 - 5 minutes until they start to soften. Then flip and cook on the other side for another 3 - 5 minutes until they are soft and tender.
  • Before the turkey burger is fully cooked melt the cheese over top.
  • In a bowl mix together the ketchup and mayo.
  • Toast the buns golden brown. Spread the ketchup mayo mix on the bun.
  • Layer the bun with the burger, mushroom, lettuce, and tomato seasoned with salt and pepper. Serve with pickles and chips.
