Ingredients

  • 2 TBSP Celery minced
  • 2 TBSP Red onion sliced thin
  • 1 cup Green leaf lettuce cut to fit the bread
  • 4 slices Tomato
  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch long sticks
  • 6 oz Tuna fish drained (albacore, chunk white tuna or your preference)
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 3 TBSP Mayonnaise as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 slices Sourdough bread lightly toasted
  • 4 TBSP Ranch dressing

Beverage

  • 16 oz Apple juice cold

Instructions

  • Prep vegetables per instructions above.
  • In a small bowl, break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with celery, lemon juice, and mayonnaise as needed until the tuna is to your desired creaminess. Season with pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
  • Lightly toast the bread in a toaster oven.
  • Top the toasted bread with the Tuna Salad, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes.
  • Cut in half. Serve with carrot sticks, ranch, and apple juice.
