Ingredients
- 2 TBSP Celery minced
- 2 TBSP Red onion sliced thin
- 1 cup Green leaf lettuce cut to fit the bread
- 4 slices Tomato
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch long sticks
- 6 oz Tuna fish drained (albacore, chunk white tuna or your preference)
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- 3 TBSP Mayonnaise as needed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 slices Sourdough bread lightly toasted
- 4 TBSP Ranch dressing
Beverage
- 16 oz Apple juice cold
Instructions
- Prep vegetables per instructions above.
- In a small bowl, break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with celery, lemon juice, and mayonnaise as needed until the tuna is to your desired creaminess. Season with pepper to taste. Stir to combine.
- Lightly toast the bread in a toaster oven.
- Top the toasted bread with the Tuna Salad, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes.
- Cut in half. Serve with carrot sticks, ranch, and apple juice.
