Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Chicken breast boneless skinless sliced thin
- 1/2 tsp Chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 cup Green bell pepper sliced (see pro tips)
- 1 cup Red bell pepper sliced (see pro tips)
- 1 cup Red onion sliced (see pro tips)
- 4 Pita bread
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
Instructions
- Season the chicken with chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the oil. Brown the chicken on all sides then add in the peppers, and onions. Sauté until they are browned and softened. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the heat.
- Warm the pita on both sides until golden brown. Spread the mayo onto the pita. Portion the chicken onto the pita and fold up. Serve with crackers.
