Ingredients
- 4 oz Chicken sausage links
- 2/3 cup Steel cut oats use recommended water on packaging for cooking
- 1 Pears peeled and diced small
- 1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Allspice
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Raspberries
- 1 tbsp Pistachio nuts chopped
- 2 tsp Honey
Instructions
- For the sausage: cook in a 400 degree oven to an internal temperature of 155 degrees using a thermometer.
- Cook the oats in salted boiling water according to the instructions on the package. Once the oats are 3/4 of the way done add the pear, cinnamon, allspice, and butter. Continue to cook until tender.
- Portion and top with raspberries and pistachio. Drizzle with honey. Serve with chicken sausage.
