Ingredients

  • 6 Slider buns or any small about golf ball sized buns
  • 1/3 pound Ground beef use more or less as needed
  • 1/2 tbsp Steak seasoning Montreal steak seasoning or equivalent brand
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Onion minced
  • 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese shredded (or your choice of cheese)
  • 1/3 cup Pickles sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 oz Potato chips
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven broiler on low.
  • Slice the buns in half. Lightly toast the buns to golden brown.
  • Mix together the ground beef, steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Portion the beef evenly into small patties to fit the buns.
  • Preheat a cast iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot add the oil and onions. Saute until they start to soften and turn golden brown then spread them out onto the bottom layer of slider buns. Place the sliders into the pan (in batches if needed). Cook on both sides for about 1 minute per side or until your desired doneness.
  • Place the burgers onto a baking sheet and top with cheese. Place underneath the oven broiler to melt.
  • Layer the buns with onion, slider, and pickles.
  • Portion and serve with chips and ketchup or your choice of condiment on the side for dipping.
