Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil (substitute duck fat if desired)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 medium Potatoes sliced about 1/2 inch thick

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Heat a sauté pan on medium heat. Add the oil and butter to the pan.
  • Season the sliced potato with salt and pepper. Arrange the potatoes in the pan in a flat layer and cook until they turn golden brown. Then flip the potatoes over and transfer the pan to the oven. Cook until tender.
  • Adjust the seasoning with salt if needed before serving.

Notes

Pro Tip: If you saved the duck fat from the duck breast meal substitute the oil for added flavor!
