Ingredients
Sausage Egg and Cheese Bagel
- 2 Your choice of bagel sliced and toasted
- 6 oz Breakfast sausage patties
- Butter for cooking
- 4 Eggs
- 2 slices Your choice of cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Coffee:
- Coffee
- Your choice of sweetener
- Your choice of creamer
Fruit:
- 2 cups Your choice of fruit prepared accordingly (such as sliced strawberries blueberries or banana)
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Toast the bagel.
- In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage patties until they are browned and cooked through. This should take about 3 - 4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt a small amount of butter over medium heat.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook until the whites firm up then flip over and top with cheese. Cook for about 1 - 2 minutes until cheese is melteed. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the cooked sausage patties on the bottom half of each toasted bagel, top with the eggs. Top with the other half of the bagel to create a sandwich. Cut in half.
- Brew and preopare the coffee to your liking.
- Serve the sandwich with fruit and coffee.
