Ingredients
Sandwich
- 4 TBSP Thousand Island dressing use amount desired
- 4 slices Rye bread
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup Sauerkraut use more or less as preferred
- 8 oz Deli corned beef sliced thin
- 2 TBSP Butter
- 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch long sticks
- 1/4 cup Ranch dressing
Sweet Sunrise
- 20 oz Ginger ale soda cold
- 4 oz Orange juice
- 2 TBSP Grenadine syrup
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
- Spread the dressing on one side of each slice of bread, and use more or less as preferred. Layer the bread with a slice of cheese, sauerkraut, corned beef, and cheese. Top with a slice of bread. Spread the butter on the outside of each bread slice.
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwich on both sides until golden brown and the cheese is melted, covered with a lid.
- Mix together the ingredients for the sweet sunrise.
- Slice the sandwich in half and serve with carrot sticks, ranch, and sweet sunrise.
