Ingredients

Sandwich

  • 4 TBSP Thousand Island dressing use amount desired
  • 4 slices Rye bread
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Sauerkraut use more or less as preferred
  • 8 oz Deli corned beef sliced thin
  • 2 TBSP Butter
  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch long sticks
  • 1/4 cup Ranch dressing

Sweet Sunrise

  • 20 oz Ginger ale soda cold
  • 4 oz Orange juice
  • 2 TBSP Grenadine syrup

Instructions

  • Prep the ingredients per the instructions above.
  • Spread the dressing on one side of each slice of bread, and use more or less as preferred. Layer the bread with a slice of cheese, sauerkraut, corned beef, and cheese. Top with a slice of bread. Spread the butter on the outside of each bread slice.
  • Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwich on both sides until golden brown and the cheese is melted, covered with a lid.
  • Mix together the ingredients for the sweet sunrise.
  • Slice the sandwich in half and serve with carrot sticks, ranch, and sweet sunrise.
