Marudnik
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Egg large
- pinch Salt
- Butter for cooking
- ½ cup Your choice of jam (strawberry, raspberry, or your choice)
Sausage
- 4 Breakfast sausage links (your preferred type)
Eggs
- Butter for cooking
- 4 Eggs large
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Coffee
- Coffee
- Your choice of sweetener
- Your choice of creamer
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, egg, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat; add a small amount of butter.
- Pour a ladle of batter into the skillet, swirling to create a thin pancake. Cook until the edges lift, flip, and cook the other side. Repeat for the second marudnik.
- In a separate skillet, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
- In the same skillet used for sausages, melt butter.
- Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preference (scrambled, fried, or poached). Season with salt and pepper.
- Spread a generous amount of berry preserves on each marudnik.
- Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
- Serve marudnik with eggs, sausage, and coffee.
