Ingredients

Marudnik

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg large
  • pinch Salt
  • Butter for cooking
  • ½ cup Your choice of jam (strawberry, raspberry, or your choice)

Sausage

  • 4 Breakfast sausage links (your preferred type)

Eggs

  • Butter for cooking
  • 4 Eggs large
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Coffee

  • Coffee
  • Your choice of sweetener
  • Your choice of creamer

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, milk, egg, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat; add a small amount of butter.
  • Pour a ladle of batter into the skillet, swirling to create a thin pancake. Cook until the edges lift, flip, and cook the other side. Repeat for the second marudnik.
  • In a separate skillet, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned and cooked through.
  • In the same skillet used for sausages, melt butter.
  • Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preference (scrambled, fried, or poached). Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread a generous amount of berry preserves on each marudnik.
  • Brew and prepare the coffee to your liking.
  • Serve marudnik with eggs, sausage, and coffee.
