Ingredients
Maine Lobster Roll
- 8 oz Cooked lobster meat chopped
- 2 TBSP Mayonnaise
- 1 TBSP Lemon juice
- 1 TBSP Fresh chives chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 Hot dog buns New England-style if available
- 1 TBSP Butter melted
- Lettuce for serving
- 2 oz Potato chips
- 2 Pickle spears
Homemade Lemonade
- 1 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
- 16 oz Water
- 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the lobster meat evenly with the dressing.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Brush the sides of the hot dog buns with melted butter.
- Toast the buns in the skillet or griddle until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Line each toasted bun with lettuce leaves. Divide the lobster mixture equally between the buns, filling them generously.
- Mix the ingredients for lemonade. Serve over ice if desired.
- Serve the Maine lobster rolls with chips, pickle, and homemade lemonade.
