Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Thousand Island dressing
  • 8 slices Rye bread
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese sliced
  • 12 oz Deli ham thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Sauerkraut drained and squeezed
  • 4 Pickles halved

Instructions

  • Preheat a panini grill or george forman style grill. (Alternatively, you can cook in a medium heat nonstick pan with a lid)
  • Spread the dressing on the bread. Layer with cheese, ham, and sauerkraut.
  • Place the sandwich on the panini grill or sandwich press. Close the lid; grill for 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and the sandwich is crispy. Serve with pickles on the side.
