Ingredients

  • 2 Sub rolls split in half lengthwise
  • 2 TBSP Extra-virgin olive oil more if needed
  • 1 TBSP Red wine vinegar more if needed
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Dried basil
  • 8 oz Deli ham
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese
  • 1 cup Carrots peeled and cut into 3 inch-long sticks
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing

Homemade Lemonade

  • 1 cup Lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 16 oz Water
  • 2 TBSP Sugar use to taste
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400ºF (204°C). Open the bread and drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar onto both the top and bottom pieces. Sprinkle both sides with a pinch of dried oregano and a pinch of dried basil.
  • Arrange ham onto the bottom half of the bread and then top with cheese. Place the top half of the bread on top of the cheese and place it on a baking sheet.
  • Place into the oven to bake until the sandwich is warm and the cheese has completely melted, about 10 minutes.
  • Mix all the ingredients for the lemonade. Serve over ice.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve hot.
  • Enjoy your delicious hot ham and cheese grinder with carrots and ranch and lemonade.
