Ingredients
- 32 Chicken wings Drum sticks and flats
- 2 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 6 tbsp Honey
- 3 tbsp Scallions chopped on a diagonal
Instructions
- Preheat the grill on medium heat. (can also be made in the oven preheated to 400 degrees if not using a grill)
- Toss the chicken wings in a bowl with oil, paprika, and oregano; season generously with salt and pepper.
- Make sure the grill is hot. Place the wings on the grill and cook on both sides, about 6 - 8 minutes per side. Check the internal temperature with a thermometer to reach 160 degrees. (Allow the wings to get a nice char but not burn, adjust the heat level accordingly)
- Meanwhile in a nonstick pan on medium heat add the garlic, bbq sauce, and honey. Simmer for 3 - 5 minutes, the mixture will bubble and thicken up. Once it reaches a syrup consistency remove from the heat and set aside.
- When the wings are done toss them with the sauce. Garnish with scallions.
